Service Description

I am very happy to be able to offer you the 8 week Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) as taught by the Mindfulness Association.  The MBLC is a wonderful introduction to mindfulness, helping you to make it a part of your everyday life. ​The course consists of an introductory class,  8 weekly 2 hour classes and a follow up class.  Depending on the group, an optional day of practice might be offered between weeks 6 and 7. The weekly themes are as follows: ​Introductory Session- What is Mindfulness and Why Practice it? Week 1- Start Where We Are Week 2- The Body as a Place to Stay Present Week 3- Introducing Mindfulness Support Week 4- Working with Distraction Week 5- Exploring the Undercurrent Week 6- Attitude of the Observer Week 7- Self-acceptance  Week 8- A Mindfulness Based Life Follow Up- The Rest of Your Life There is also the expectation that participants will do their best to practice at home to get maximum benefit from the course. This course can be run online or in person.  I am also very happy to come along to your workplace to offer it to staff.  For charitable organisations I may be able to apply for funding through the Everyone Project.  Please contact me to find out more.
